Blockbau Workshop Updates

Things are coming together for our June workshop

And we still have plenty of spots open.

We have been busy hewing the wood to be used for this building, and getting everything ready.

Details Unfolding…

Our June workshop will be held on our family farm just outside of Galveston Indiana.

Our farm is a 20 acre horse farm, with about 3 wooded acres. We have a large open barn (to the right of the first picture) that is generally unused during the summer months. If the weather is good, we plan to do all of our work outside. But if the weather does not cooperate, we will be able to do most of our work inside.

Hotels can be found about 15 miles way in the city of Kokomo, good camping can be found about 25 miles away at the Miami State Recreation Area, located on the Mississenewa Reservoir.

We will be planning activities for 3 of the nights, and the other two nights will be open. One night we will have a tour of local historic buildings, including a 2 story settlers log cabin and a number of early barns.

We also plan to have a night of music provided by the Bahler-Graber band.
